Billed as Pop Mart’s largest Southeast-Asian convention yet, the bilingual expo spotlights Hirono’s “Twin-Cities Adventure”—a life-size installation linking the show’s Beijing beginning to Singapore’s collector boom. First launched in Beijing in 2021 after a pandemic delay, Pop Toy Show now operates in the Chinese capital (Aug 1-3) and Singapore. The Lion City’s event, in particular, gives Southeast-Asian and English-speaking fans a first look at the characters, indie labels and limited-run drops that will dominate the next 12 months.
